Originally shot in 2014 for Volt magazine, as part of a monochromatic series entitled ‘In the Service of the Mind’, this image was inspired by Man Ray’s recurring preoccupation with the female form. It is a contemporary re-presentation of one of the Surrealist photographs from 1926.
